Pure Web Group Staff

Greetings and Salutations,

My name is Dave Flook and I am the captain of this ship (all aboard!).

I am a 32 year old web design-a-holic/entrepreneur/college teacher/proud father to name but a few of my accomplishments. I entered the wonderful world of design well before my college years but it was during those years spent at Fanshawe in London Ontario where I became passionate about interactive design specifically web design.

I knew that self-employment was the way to go for me and I set out to make that happen with a feverish excitement and eagerness. The first graphic design business I started was called That Graphics Guy. I ran this very successful business for four years and worked on dozens of very exciting projects and met even more very interesting people. I decided to focus specifically on web design as I found it to be the most rewarding for me.

I started up Pure Web Group due to the high demands of the web design world. In essence I simply could not manage to take on everything by myself any longer. I pulled a page from Henry Ford’s book about the division of labour and set forth with a group of my fellow web designers to take on the challenges and joys of web design.

I have taught web design in both the graphic design and interactive design departments at Fanshawe College and currently am putting the final touches on my own web design school for both the London and Chatham areas.

I am also the president and founder of the non-profit organization Not All Dads Are Deadbeats (www.notalldadsaredeadbeats.com) which fights for equal parenting in the family court system.

I look forward to sharing my passion for all things related to web design with you and your business.

Aside from keeping the web designers entertained around the office with his keen sense of humour, Steve is our symbol for branding. On his left side he actually has a brand that reads 100% Pure Web.

Steve is also a web design addict and offers us advice and support when we are designing.
